With computers and technology playing a bigger role in our everyday lives, Whizzkids has a range of programmes that open up the world of multimedia to boys and girls aged 8+. From our summer camps in top class Universities in Dublin, Cork, Limerick & Galway, to tailored programs delivered to you on your doorstep, we offer a range of programmes that will educate and entertain.

Whizzkids is delighted to partner with ForFás in the Discover Primary Science programme to promote the importance of technology to children. We have a wide range of presentations and workshops. Whizzkids Summer Camps

Whizzkids summer camps are designed for children of all abilities aged 8+. With camps in Dublin, Cork, Limerick & Galway, in first class facilities of UCD, DCU, UCC, UL & NUIG, they mix the best of indoor and outdoor activity, all with a hi-tech theme. Our Summer Camps are all about having fun and picking up valuable skills at the same time. Designed to maximise exposure to the world of multimedia technology, while making friends and enjoying yourself. With half-day, full day and residential camps on offer, there is something for any boy or girl between the age of 8 & 17. Spaces are limited.

Tailored Programs - Anytime, anywhere!

Whizzkids Programs can be adapted to suit any group or location. We provide all the equipment and have the appropriate software loaded onto laptops so our instructors can deliver the program right in your venue. Contact us by phone to discuss your group needs.

 

Video Game Parties

If you are planning a Birthday Party, Christmas Party, End of Season Session or just want to have a fun event, Whizzkids can supply your club or group all you need for a fantastic experience. Playing the most popular X-Box 360 games on three giant 50 inch plasma screens, participants will compete to see who is the “Top Gamer”. Go it alone or select the works where Whizzkids will MC the event and blast out the latest hits on their own PA system adding atmosphere in the club whether one is playing, waiting their turn or simply cheering on a friend.

 

Whizzkids After School Clubs

WhizzKids provides a range of after-school IT programmes. Designed for children of all abilities, all clubs are designed to provide basic editing and file management skills and then progress quickly to more advanced topics such as design, layout, working with images, digital storytelling and programming. Courses are designed specifically for 8-15 year olds and using our mobile unit are delivered right in your own school, using our own laptops and software. All courses are delivered in schools and participants attend for 1 hour a week for 10-12 weeks depending on length of term. Schools, parents or parent associations that would like to have these clubs run in their area should contact the Whizzkids Office to discuss.

 

Our computer camps will entertain and educate this summer. Our multimedia camps have been running since 2003 and have introduced thousands of children across Ireland to the creative use of computers and I.T. Technology will be a key element of your childs future. Delivered by fully qualified teachers our job is to teach them to explore and embrace technology by making it fun, entertaining and creative.
